Natural Ways to Stop Sweating Excessive Amounts

If you sweat excessively and it is starting to drive you mad, you will be happy to know there are many natural ways to stop sweating.

Prior to listing the methods that can alleviate problems with your sweat, you need to know that sweating is an essential bodily process and you shouldn’t eliminate sweating entirely. Sweating is the body’s temperature control function. The sweat glands create perspiration which is brought to your skin’s surface when your temperature rises. As the perspiration evaporates, it helps cool the skin to a normal temperature. Without sweat, your body will start to overheat, leading to serious medical predicaments, even death.

That being said, every individual will know that excessive sweating can be an uncomfortable situation, both for ourselves and for those closest to our hearts. It is not going to cost you the earth to sort the problem out. There are numerous effortless, economical, natural ways to stop sweating excessive amounts.

The most apparent way to stop sweating naturally is to avoid those situations that cause you to sweat: Forsake strenuous high temperatures, spicy foods and exercise. That being said though, this avoidance is not always possible.

Make sure to drink ample cold water to keep your body temperature down. Water is plentiful and inexpensive. By drinking no less than eight 8 oz glasses throughout the day, you’ll keep your body cooled down. Try to stay in shady, cool areas as well.

Another natural way to stop sweating is to bathe often, even several times a day if need be. Try and use a a loofah sponge, which on the whole is more capable of scrubbing away bacteria that lead to body odor. Ensure you especially scrub your groin, your armpits and your toes. These are all locations where bacteria thrive, which is why these locations are so inclined to body odor.

There are innumerable natural deodorants that you can benefit from when you get dressed. You can make your own by mixing equal parts of rubbing alcohol and water with little amounts of rose water and alum (both are readily available at grocery and drug stores.) Or, you can try using a small amount of talcum powder or cornstarch. These can be less irritating than the popular antiperspirant/deodorants that include aluminum chlorohydrate or aluminum chloride. Visit a health food store for other natural antiperspirants.

If your face is susceptible to sweating, try keeping a small spray bottle of witch hazel nearby, along with a small supply of cotton balls. Spray the witch hazel on a cotton ball and gently brush it over the face for quick respite. Natural means to stop sweating are very straightforward to use and cheap. You need not have to break the bank to stop breaking your sweat.

Make sure you always consult a medical professional before taking any medical advice.
