Tinnitus Education

Tinnitus is a condition that has been around for many years but seems to be getting worse in these loud time we live in.

Many tinnitus patients report that one of the main tinnitus is exposure to loud noise.

Indeed it is getting harder to escape being exposed to loud noise in this fast paced, loud and busy world we all take for granted these days.

The worst part about tinnitus is that there is no cure! This may seem strange, given that so many millions of people suffer form tinnitus.

Tinnitus Causes

In most cases tinnitus is self inflicted, especially with the growing popularity of devices like the Apple iPod and similar MP3 players. This trend is certainly set to continue as these devices become more popular and the make things worse, just about every cell phone these days is also an MP3 player.

These devices are extremely popular amongst students, sportsman and women and commuters. The lat mentioned typically will use the MP3 player as a means of passing time and masking the noise and clutter all around them as they commute.

The problem, because the trains, buses and traffic is so loud, they need to increase the volume levels and this is where the damage starts occurring and tinnitus cause rears it’s ugly head.

Most folk don’t even know about tinnitus or the tinnitus causes and how debilitating it can be until they already have it, at which time it is too late obviously!

So it is my opinion the best tinnitus cure is education! Teach the kids about it at school and college much the same as is happening with sex education! We talk about sex with the kids so why not discuss tinnitus with them.

International Luxury Real Estate Investments

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

Despite recent falls in the value of real estate, things are not all doom and gloom. The luxury real estate market has proven to be far more robust that any other market, and certain markets remain untouched by the sub prime crisis. Not all property markets are the same.

Many are buying property in Australia as this is also seen as a good long term investment. Australia has yet to feel the international pinch and consistent population growth combined with a strong fiscal policy has meant prices are not suffering in the same way as Spain is, for instance. Spain was over hyped for too long by too mant and this downturn was inevitable.

Real estate investment is almost always the best long term investment strategy. Short term falls in the market will eventually correct themselves, and canny investors will not have placed themselves in a position of having to liquidate assets at a lower price than borrowing. Even in the American real estate markets, which have suffered the most during the sub-prime mortgage fiasco, will rebound. Estimating a time frame for this is almost impossible, and the correction will take several years for certain.

Further afield, the luxury markets as well as the luxury retail sector are as strong as always. There seems no lessening in demand for designer purses and handbags for example. Dior, Fendi, and Louis Vuitton are still strong companies with consistent growths in the past and a strong future. New designer handbag companies face a difficult challenge when entering this market though. The existing designers will not easily let go of the strangle hold they have.

Angles for Wholesaling Real Estate and Flipping Houses for Quick Cash

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

Flipping real estate traditionally is a lucrative way to make money but with extensive renovations this will often require more initial cash or financing to get the deal done. This is why these type of flips are most easily executed with homes that require minimal repairs and primarily just need cosmetic work completed.

However, flipping is about more than quickly fixing up a house and reselling it. Another angle is to flip contracts to other real estate investors that will do all the fix up work and remodeling. This way your risk is even smaller than before. You can certainly make money the first way described but there are also inherent risks you need to understand.

The more risk free option is flipping houses via contracts. This is also sometimes referred to as wholesaling or assigning properties. This is where you tie up a property at a discount (using an agreement) and then flip the contract it to another buyer or investor for a quick profit. The benefits include it is virtually risk free, there is no need for excessive cash or credit or financing, you are not taking ownership so there are no closing or holding costs and you do no repairs or work yourself. This is why when it comes to making quick cash in real estate, this method of flipping houses is one of the best routes to take especially for real estate investing today.

This is why faster, lower risk, more creative real estate investing strategies like flipping or wholesaling houses are better to use for flat and down markets.
