I had a trojan (Hacktool.Rootkit) on my computer?

I had a trojan (Hacktool.Rootkit) on my computer for a while my computer is running perhaps 10% of what it is to use. I have a relatively fast computer because 2.79Ghz Core 2.8 Ghz 512 MB of RAM, and problems im just run Firefox, its takes more than 60 seconds to open, for example. I've always had Norton and spybot on my computer. When I first got the Trojan decided to reformat my hard drive, but a Once I did it reappeared later. I have no CD to load the operating system system from when I had to use "data recovery" program in my computer. My grandparents raised 6 of their own kids and helped to raise 8 grandkids as well. Incredible dining, ballroom dancing, gambling, and a wide array of activities were available on board in which they took part in. On days when they just needed to take a breather from all the fun and excitement, they lounged around the pool and made new friends with whom they still speak with. The sunset upon the ocean is a sight that must be seen to be believed they told us.
