Ship Cars Overseas in Ocean Containers

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Transporting automobiles overseas in ocean containers isn’t novel but not many buyers bear a well-defined picture how it is executed, particularly when it comes to shared (or consolidated) container service for worldwide car shipping.

Foremost, a professional export loading warehouse must be used. A mere freight handling facility will not execute – packing automobiles in ocean containers calls for specialized skills and expertise. Numerous companies supply only “floor loading” for automobiles, while others are capable to elevate the motorcars with the assistance of ramps or chains, therefore permitting 3-5 autos to be stationed in an individual 40′ ocean container.

This is essentially how the consolidation container service functions with international automobile shipping. A transport company promotes the auto shipping service to an oversea destination (very common are Italy, UK, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Russia) and provides very aggressive pricing. The shipper trusts that every week or two it will acquire the car shipping bookings from several clients to the same destination. With this method the international vehicle moving company can pack and send a 40′ container with 3-4 autos to the same port.

The beneficial thing is that a client just pays for one spot that his/her automobile is holding inside the container. Put differently: the price of the overseas auto shipping is “shared” amidst all clients. In this manner you merely pay a fraction of worldwide transport cost.

Sending autos abroad in ocean containers is a very cost-efficient method if you are shipping to a common destination and do not mind waiting in order to save up on price.

data recovery hard drive cost
What does it cost to recover about 150 GB of data from a hard disk that is not working properly?

I have a Seagate 300 GB, recently my PC failed to recognize and made a strange grinding noise when in motion. I have not the first clue on how to access the drive. I have heard of recovery Data was outrageously priced. But I'm trying to get a ball park figure.

Yes, it is usually very expensive. But try installing this unit as a second disk on another computer, see if it is recognized and see if you can access it there. Also, search the web, there are some tools availabe can do magic things with defective units. Good luck!

How Much Money Can You Make Selling Ebooks?

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Anyone who is interested in selling ebooks would like to know how much money they can make out of it. Well, like most business ventures, the answer to this will largely depend on many different factors. For example, the amount of time you put into the promotion of your ebooks will have a direct effect on sales. Also, market interest in your ebook topic is another important consideration. People who are good at picking good ebook topics and promoting their ebooks usually stand to make a lot of money.

How Much Money Can You Make Exactly?

Some Ebook entrepreneurs lose money in the course of a year while some make hundreds of thousands of dollars. More realistically, however, is somewhere in between these two points. Many ebook authors make between $5,000 and $25,000 a year as a rough guide.

How to Maximize Ebook Sales

The best way to ensure optimum sales is to constantly promote your ebook. This may mean long working hours. Some of the best ways to promote your ebook include buying advertising from large advertising portals such as Google and Yahoo, using link exchanges, press releases, writing articles for websites and ezines, building an content rich website and writing compelling ebook sales pages.

Accomplishing all of this is no mean feat. You can expect to be in product development for several months and then the promotional stage may take another 4-12 months. It’s not necessarily an easy job but as stated above the payoff could be huge. Another idea is to write several ebooks and then to sell this as an ebook package. You could also offer your package with resale rights. There are thousands of people looking to resell ebooks and you could profit from this demand.

Worst Case Scenario

Should you decide that that ebook entrepreneurship is not your forte, you will still have written an ebook and be selling it online. That makes you an author and you should be proud of the achievement. Furthermore, your ebook may give you some extra cash on a monthly basis. If nothing else, it will be a good learning experience. You have nothing to lose, so why not give it a try?
