Free AdSense Training Course – More than 30,000 Readers

Monday, August 10th, 2009

I was reviewing some statistics on one of my websites the other day and found that well over 30,000 people have now taken my free AdSense training course.

The course was until recently a bit out of date because I first wrote it in 2003! although many of the underlying principles remain unchanged. Anyway, I’ve updated it a fair bit of late and am pleased to report that most people remain on my AdSense list for over a year and I know for a fact that many people have been on it for over 999 days whatever that is in years.

So if you are looking for free info on how to make money with AdSense you’re on the right place. Just check out AdSense.

What you get there is a 5 day intro to AdSense coupled with an introduction to AdSense related tools and tips. You also get an opportunity to sign up for some additional free Internet Marketing Training

The AdSense course is aimed at relative newbies to AdSense and covers topics such as keyword research, content creation, traffic generation and domain names so it’s fairly generalised.

The Internet Marketing Course is more generalised and sets out to teach people how to make money online either as a standalone business opportunity or as a means to grow an existing business that needs a web presence or that is already online but not doing very well.

Both the courses are backed up by further information in an online Internet Marketing Dictionary

Learn How To Rank High In Google & The Rest

Monday, August 10th, 2009

In reality, the majority site owners want to know how to rank high in Google Yahoo & MSN. To do that you’ll either need to learn SEO (search engine optimization) or hire a geek to do it for you.

Search engine optimization sounds like a horrifying thing to get a grasp of and while the worm hole does run very deep with what seems like bottomless complexities, it’s not that difficult to get a hold of the basics.

And the basics are all you have to know to get your site advancing up into the upper ranks of the SERPS (search engine results pages) with all the advantages that brings.

Any high ranking webmaster will tell you that a number one listing on Google can utterly flood your website with visitors all clamouring to discover what you can offer them. To make this reality we all need to learn how to rank high in Google.

Once you’re ranking high in Google the other search engines more often than not follow suit, which is a nice bonus.

The down and dirty details are beyond the scope of this post but at its most uncomplicated it reduces down to two cheif factors.

1. On page factors.

2. Off page optimization.

While #1 is essential it is the off page jobs you do which will ultimately raise your rankings. Off page optimization actually boils down to gaining links from third party web sites.

The engines look at a link from one page to a second as a vote. The more links which fire in to a page the more important that page is judged to be and the search engine rank rises. Admittedly that is a very simplified picture but it’s the fundamentals of ranking.

There are a myriad of different classifications of link. Some perform much better than others for ranking purposes. The premium links you can acquire are in-context plain text links which are rich in anchor text. Sound difficult? It’s not.

I’ve run out of space in this article but if you want further details I’ll be delighted to provide you with an evaluation of your site for a nominal fee. I’ll recommend keywords you could be targeting and how to get in-context inbound text links centered on those keywords.
