Data recovery on a drive that will not start?
I have a portable hard drive unbootable. Dell sent me a replacement. No data on the disk Hard not start I need to access. Is there any way to do it myself? Dell told me about www.ontrack.co.uk / dell. I am a student and I really do not want to pay for something I can do. Is there any way to connect the new drive and old drive to the laptop at the same time to recover my data? If I use the Recovery Console on the installation CD, will that work? I have courses that I have to agree. I have a USB port on the back of my laptop. Is there any software I can download? I live in the UK. Recently I discovered that the hard disk is not spinning. Is there anything I can do? I have to return the hard drive to Dell on Monday.
Unfortunately ….. If the hard disk is not spinning, really is not much out there apart from Ontrack or other data recovery providers to assist in data recovery, at least affordable. The note also Ontrack has a long and proven track record. My company has used before and I would recommend.

4. Talk to yourself. No, it doesn’t mean you’re crazy! Positive “self-talk” really does help lift your spirits and keep you motivated.
5. Take your vitamins. A good multi-vitamin will ensure your nutritional needs are being met. This is especially important if you’re on a diet plan that restricts certain kinds of foods.
The best way to lose weight is through exercise. I know because I lost 45 lbs in six months — and kept it off!
